Personal cartography and the world of social mapmaking

Pursuit is a social mapmaking platform that aims to revolutionize the way people communicate with maps, find new places, and share their favorite spots with friends. Rolling out initially in New York City, Pursuit lets you curate a map of your favorite spots, trace where you’ve been, and share those journeys with others.

I worked on this project from the ground up, designing features as they were built and iterating on the design system as the product evolved — including the map design. For more advanced interactions, I turned to motion-specific tools and wrote code to create live prototypes.
